The Zilpha is Launched on Old Forge Pond

On Saturday, May 9, 2009 Old Forge Lake Cruises launched their new tour boat the Zilpha. This boat will serve the Fulton Chain of Lakes as a Tour Boat. The boat will be offering special cruises and is geared to smaller tour groups, events and charters. The boat shape and size is unique to our fleet so we will be able stop at most docks to pick up and deliver passengers for dinner parties, socials and other events. Seating on the boat is limited and will vary for excursions and private charters. The launch of this tour boat marks the beginning of the 2009 season and a new Era in the Old Forge Cruises history on the Fulton Chain of Lakes.

Old Forge Lake Cruises now has three boats on the Fulton Chain of Lakes; the “Clearwater”, “Zilpha” and “Mail Boat” with many different Boat Tours/Cruises including Sightseeing, Fireworks, Kids, Heritage Lunch, Sunday Brunch, and Mail Boat Cruises. New this year there will be many SPECIAL EVENT CRUISES taking place such as the Champagne and Chocolate Cruises. At Old Forge Lake Cruises you can also charter these boats for your family reunion, birthday, anniversary or special party, organization and business outings, fundraisers, social, any outing or event and your “Adirondack” wedding.
Directions to Old Forge Lake Cruises, Old Forge, New York
From I-90- NYS Thruway: Take Exit 31 at Utica. Follow signs to Route 12 North and proceed north on Route 12 to Alder Creek, then proceed north on Route 28 North to Old Forge. Old Forge Cruises is located on Route 28 in village of Old Forge across from the Enchanted Forest/Water Safari, on the right hand side of the road.
